Buddhist Statues
Ancient Buddhist Statues at Komyoji
Susono Komyoji Temple preserves several important Buddhist statues,
including statues of Bishamonten and Fudo Myoo dating from the Heian period,
approximately 1,000 years ago.
The temple also enshrines Jizo Bodhisattva as its principal image,
together with Yakushi Nyorai and Dainichi Nyorai.
Zen Meditation (Zazen)
